STAGE ONE IS COMPLETE

Last weekend saw the completion of Stage One of this season's competition and also the opening and subsequent closing of the transfer window , only four players made use of the chance to change one or more teams , when examining the below tables which show our first prize winners , some may question if that was the right decision . The changes made were  :Nick bought in Coventry at the expense of Southampton , Wayne dispensed with the second best side in Cambridgeshire and will now have his hopes pinned on Lincoln City , Matt has got rid of Crawley in League Two in favour of Crewe , whilst Graham now has Bromley in place of Accrington .

With a full set of Champions League games the chances of a big score were always quite high and so it proved . Aaron topped the scoring with twenty four goals and picked up the ten point weekly bonus to go along with the eleven bonus points he had already received . There were seven players given a thirteen point bonus for hitting the magic number

The final calculations and bonus points of Stage One came via the league positioning of each of the player's sides , this made a massive difference to the final overall table , Chuds' sides were combined best placed of Stage One with a massive swing of 54 points ahead of Ant who collected minus twenty six points . Scores now reset to zero for each player , with the exception of those with transfer adjustments , the below scores will be carried forward for the end of season overall prize
