2025/26 selections

This season's event has attracted a record number of entrants , twenty eight of us will pitch battle over the next ten months or so in an attempt to secure bragging rights , personal pride in your selections and of course a potential share in the prize pot which exceeds £1500 this year .

There has been one very slight amendment to the rules and now the rule that states "any side scoring five or more goals in a single game will win a bonus two points whereas any side conceding five or more goals will be deducted 2 bonus points" will now be extended to include all Caraboa Cup , FA Cup and Champions League matches NOT just league games as was previously stated .

The league season kicks off this Friday night when relegated Luton Town take on newly promoted Wimbledon in League One at Kenilworth Road , this game will have no bearing whatsoever on our competition as no one selected either of those two sides .

Eight sides failed to attract any interest in the Premier League where champions Liverpool and Newcastle took the most picks , Arsenal came in an unfamiliar third despite being the best team on the list .

No one fancied newly promoted Wrexham to continue their rise through the leagues whilst many expect Ipswich to bounce straight back into the Premier as they outnumbered their Eat Anglian rivals by eight to one

Several entrants believe that at least one Cambridgeshire side will be successful this season , in a league that saw all three sides relegated from the Championship failing to attract any interest .

One vote ? ,just one bloody vote ??? , you will all be sorry when the League Two trophy is being paraded around Parkers Piece next June , we've already got shit loads of open top buses !!!!!

As there is no opportunity to change your Champions League sides this season the bottom six teams who all failed to be selected will play no part in our competition , therefore fully expect one of them to at least make the semis , it's a James wade waiting to happen
