FA Cup rules

The oldest cup competition in the world will be incorporated into this season’s Lucky 13 . Along with the Caraboa Cup they will replace the two cup competitions held last season . When the draw takes place for the main competition every member will be allocated one side from each of the Premier League , Championship , League One , League Two and the National League . For the early stages of the competition it will be the side drawn in the National League that will be of most importance as every National League side has been coupled with a side from both the National League North and the National League South , for example if you draw Dagenham in the National League for the purposes of the FA Cup competition you will be allocated Chesham from the National League South and Chester from the National League North . A full list of the teams grouped together can be seen below . This means that the FA Cup competition kicks off as early as September 14th with the Second Qualifying Round when the National League North and South clubs enter the competition .

It is all about goals , every goal scored by your teams in the FA Cup counts towards your total , this includes goals scored in extra time and goals scored in replays , however goals scored in penalty shoot outs DO NOT COUNT . To have a look at the latest FA Cup fixtures , results etc click here 

There are five stages in which prizes will be awarded for 1st  and  2nd  place 

Most goals scored in Qualifying Rounds 2 (14/9) , 3 (28/9) & 4 (12/10) combined .

Most goals scored in 1st (2/11) & 2nd (30/11) Round Proper combined .

Most goals scored in 3rd (11/1) , 4th (8/2) & 5th (1/3) combined .

Most goals scored in Quarter Finals (29/3) , Semi Finals (26/4) and Final (17/5) combined .

Most goals scored in entire tournament combined .

If any of the about stages result in one or more members finishing on level goals the prize money shall be split accordingly .

IN A CHANGE TO THE PREVIOUSLY PUBLISHED RULES , FOLLOWING THE CONSTRUCTION OF A SPREADSHEET TO CALCULATE THE SCORES IN THE FA CUP COMPETITION , CONTAINING 2300 SEPERATE CELLS , IT HAS BEEN DECIDED THAT THE TEAMS THAT MEMBERS ARE ALLOCATED IN THE AUGUST DRAW WILL REMAIN THEIRS FOR THE DURATION OF THE FA CUP .

If any side withdraws or is disqualified from the FA Cup they will not be replaced in the competition and shall score zero from the time of withdrawal onwards .
